With summer in full swing we want to make sure we are getting the most out of it with our pups! That means lots of treats, playing in the water, toys, and matching outfits for all of the special occasions you have coming up to make this summer the most memorable one yet.
Dog Swimming Pool
If you aren’t by the lake this summer and want an easy cool down for you + your pup this little pool will do this trick. With enough water to splash around in, your dog will enjoy zoomies in and out of the water with their own personal splash zone.
Treat Time 🐕
Treats are needed after playing so we wanted to share two of our favorite recipes we have had our dogs test and there have been no complaints when it comes to these two. Frozen, simple, and healthy is what we look for when it comes to what we give our pups and these hardly take anytime and are made out of ingredients you probably have in your kitchen right now!
Blueberry Frozen Dog Treats
¾ cup blueberries
½ banana, ripe
¾ cup greek yogurt low fat preferably
Add all ingredients that can then be put into a blender or mashed up by hand. Mix until fully incorporated and freeze overnight and then you’re done! Check out these cute treats here with the bone molds.
Frozen Watermelon Treats
1 1/2 cups fresh seedless watermelon pieces
2/3 cup plain Greek yogurt
2 teaspoons honey
Put all of your ingredients in a blender and keep going until you get a smooth mixture. Take the smooth mixture and spoon it into what ever freezer safe mold you have on hand. Place in the freezer for about 3 hours or until solid and that’s it. Check out more of the recipe here.
