Sheba, a Siberian Husky, was loved by her real owner Craig Alciati and our entire family which took care of her for the last 8 years of her life. We would only going to take her for a few months, but it became permanent, which were were ecstatic about. She LOVED the snow so when I moved to Lake Tahoe for two winters she was truly in paradise. She loved people and they loved her.
She occasionally got carried away with the freedom of living at Tahoe, so she did have a long rap sheet with the pound in Reno for running free. In the end she was pretty blind, but couldn’t pass up the chance for one last run in the fresh snow back in MN and unfortunately she died instantly when she was hit by a car after running off as a fresh snow was falling. The only thing we don't miss is the cloud of hair that followed her.
